I grew up surrounded by the things travelers come to Tuscany hoping to find — vineyards, hill towns, long meals, family traditions and a way of life where food and wine are closely connected to the people who produce them.
But when you grow up here, these aren’t attractions. They’re simply part of everyday life.
That difference shapes the way I host my guests.
I don’t want you to leave Tuscany remembering only the famous view you photographed or the wine you tasted. I want you to remember the person who poured the wine, the conversation you had at lunch, the road we stopped along because the view was too good to pass and the places you probably wouldn’t have found on your own.
Those are usually the moments people remember longest.
